Biography:  Jim McMullen was born in Kansas City, MO.  Jim McMullen clerked for the Honorable Deanell Reece Tacha, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit.  He previously worked as an attorney at two national law firms in the private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate finance practice groups.  In 2003 Jim became the Assistant General Counsel at YRC Worldwide, Inc.  Upon leaving YRC Worldwide, Inc, he became the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for Jayhawk Capital Management, LLC.  In 2008 Jim joined Tony Shapiro to form Shapiro & McMullen, P.A.  Jim has 13 years of experience as a corporate and transactional attorney. Jim currently resides in Overland Park, KS with his wife and four children.
